If your mare requires sedation, treatment for accident or illness then this will be added to your invoice.
Other Services Offered
Foaling Fee - £200 (£50 discount if your mare is in foal to our resident stallion and/or is returning to be covered to him)
We have spacious, safe foaling boxes with CCTV and 24/7 supervision. Mare's are only taken to foal down by special agreement so please ensure that you contact us directly to confirm that we have space available for your mare.
Please note; at this time we are unable to offer foaling services for mares that are at grass. Expectant mares that are to be kept at grass will be bought into a foaling box at least fourteen days before thier due date and the relevant charges added to your bill. Your mare and her new born foal will be turned out to grass at the discrection of the Stud Manager.
Weaning Fee - £75
We realise that it can be a difficult and stressful time at weaning. We hope to help reduce the stress on your mare, foal and you! Please contact us for more information.
It is our policy that no foal under the age of six months will be weaned at SevernView Stud (unless there is a valid medical reason for the health of the mare and/or foal)
Artificial Insemination - £POA
In addition to the above veterinary packages for our own stallion we are pleased to be able to offer the sevices of our DEFRA approved and registered AI Technician. All you need to do is choose the stallion (please ensure he is offered by chilled and/or fresh semen). We will do the rest!
