During 2009, Update will continue with his competition career. Now partnered with Jennifer Cuthbert, his first outing of 2009 proved to be a great success. His manners, as always, were fantastic and he was placed in both of his classes.

Sammartini
Sammartini's sire is the famous Dutch Warmblood 'Samber'.
Samber is currently the only coloured stallion to pass the KWPN rigourous 100 day performance test and be graded with an A certificate (he achieved a perfect 10 for character and temprement), allowing his offspring to be registered. In the mid-eighties he competed to Grand Prix level dressage and Z level (BSJA Grade A) in showjumping. Samber is by two highly rated Dutch Horses - 'PERICLES': a preferent rate stallion and 'TINA': a ster. preferent, presteinte rated mare. Samber has consistently been very highly ranked on the index (400 stallions on average) for both dressage (top 20's) and jumpers (top 100's) for producing offspring excelling in these disciplines.

BEF Futurity Evaluations 2008
For the first time some of Update's youngstock attended the BEF Futurity to be graded.
7th August 2008 - Divine Update (Update x TB Mare) a coloured filly attended her grading today and achieved a FIRST PREMIUM. We were delighted with her behaviour and with the result!!

'Update' x TB mare bred by KBFarm
He is now owned and shown by Natalie Perkins. This is his very first trip out - to come second in a large coloured class at Lindridge show. Natalie said she was thrilled with her boy, his behavior was impeccable and he was not yet two. He will be going eventing when he is ready to compete. Natalie liked him so much she has also bought his full brother.

Amazing Jigsaw

Update x TB mare bred by Rosita Hamar
He won his two classes and the overall championship at Sibdon show (2007) this was his first outing this year and was a superb success. He also came 1st in the two and three year old coloured class, and reserve coloured champion at the ROYAL WELSH SHOW.
Jigsaw has been awarded First Stage Approval with CHAPS and will be kept entire to stand at his owner's stud
(www.hamarshorses.co.uk). 2008 has seen him being shown in-hand and being placed and winning the majority of his classes. Congratulations Rosita!
